![]() Kathy's Chair For nearly two years, a client pushed me to design a dining chair that would have the weight and formality of a traditional Queen Anne chair, and yet be fresh in appearance and definitely be more comfortable than its antecedents. This chair was the result of her prodding. Large cabriole legs, front and back, allow for deep mortise and tenon joints that give this chair great strength; and the curved, flexible back slats make for an extremely comfortable sit. Since there is not a single straight line in this piece, it has a voluptuous flowing quality to it, but it is also very labor intensive to build. Doing a run of eight of these chairs is like training for an iron man triathlon. Price List |
