Power Desk

With it's visual weight and rich materials, this desk expresses strength and beauty. The top and raised panels are solid cocobolo with the panels set in frames of Indonesian rosewood. Each of the twenty nine raised panels is surrounded by a thin beaded molding of Gabon ebony.

The desk has six dovetailed drawers and two pull-out shelves. The pulls are of ebony, as is the string inlay in the top. If there is a piece of contemporary furniture in the world that has more cocobolo in it than this one, I would love to hear about it.
