   Carved Leg Details 1 The carvings are beautifully rendered and exquisitely detailed by artist and carver, David Atherton. Each individual leg has it's own carving of a sea shell and flowering vine on it that differs from all the others. The foot of each leg turns into the same bulbous shell at the bottom, but with a different sea creature peeking out from the shell on each leg. (here, a baby octopus on the left and a seahorse on the right) |
