This flamingo gourd was made as a present for a special friend with a flamingo fetish. The gourd shape does not really translate well to a flamingo profile, but here is the result. The wings and tail are made from cut gourd shell as well, and glued into receiving slots in the main body. Upon completion, all gourds are given a seal coat, then finished with a lacquer to give a durable finish.
