Two Turtles
|
The turtles are hand-painted with various coloring pens. Many employ a process whereby the pigment is scratched off to reveal the design. Upon completion, the gourds are given a seal coat, then finished with a lacquer to give a durable finish.
All of the turtles are based on actual turtles, and have the coloring and markings of the indicated species (labeled on bottom of turtle).
These turtle gourds have the seeds in them, and make excellent rattles. They are sturdy, however are not toys, and should not be given to unsupervised children.
