There will be lots of info (trying to sort out the wealth of contradictory info on back care), illustrations of exercises to do, and many links to back care info on the web. I'll also have some side trips on related (well, for the most part) topics.
I have some of the raw material for the rancho mondo back pages, but it will be some time before I can get around to cleaning it up and organizing it and generally getting it web presentable. But I thought it would be instructive to just let this section slowly develop before your eyes. You can get a sense of the steps involved in presenting a web page.
Anyway, what I have now is two text documents that I hand-typed in (before scanner and optical character recognition capabilities) from two back care brochures that I came across. They seem to have some decent basic information and recommendations. This stuff is copyrighted and I really need to synthesize it anyway; but here is their text.
The first is The Back Owner's Manual subtitled: a guide to the care of the low back. It offers excellent advice.
The second is Back Exercises subtitled: your 15 x 15 routine (15 exercises in 15 minutes). This describes a back exercise plan that anyone can find time to do, and is illustrated. The illustrations are just traced sketches at the moment (used the Wacom graphics tablet), but will give you an idea of the exercise. Just click on the linked and underlined exercise name.
Check back often. The rancho mondo site adds material frequently, and this page in particular is sort of set up to watch as it gets developed. Newly added items will be described in the news section, so check it out.
